A. 運用基礎科學與工程原理於材料工程的能力。(AC2004+ 認證規範3.1.1)

Capability to apply fundamental scientific and engineering principles to materials engineering systems.

B. 瞭解材料結構、性質、製程、及功能關係的能力。(AC2004+ 認證規範3.1.1,3.1.2,3.1.4)

Demonstrate an integrated understanding of the scientific and engineering principles underlying structure, properties, processing, and performance relationships.

C. 運用科技知識與計量方法於材料選用及設計工作。(AC2004+ 認證規範3.1.2,3.1.3,3.1.4)

Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering and use the appropriate experimental, statistical, and computational methods to the solution of materials selection and design problems and to meet desired needs.

D. 跨領域及跨國際團隊工作及有效溝通能力。(AC2004+ 認證規範3.1.5)

Function on multi-disciplinary and international teams and communicate effectively.

E. 發掘、陳述、研究及解決材料工程問題。(AC2004+ 認證規範3.1.3,3.1.6)

Identify, formulate, and solve materials engineering problems and understand contemporary materials science and engineering issues.

F. 專業及道德責任感的瞭解。(AC2004+ 認證規範3.1.8)

Understand professional and ethical responsibility.

G. 瞭解工程方法對全球及社會環境的衝擊。(AC2004+ 認證規範3.1.7)

Understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global and societal context.

H. 追求創新,實務與理論並重,並建立終身學習習慣。(AC2004+ 認證規範3.1.7)
